Commander's Report

Date and time: February 24, 2012 - 21:00

Written by: Alexandre Mangeot, Crew 113, Commander

Baptiste, Nicolas, Alexandre and I woke up early today for climbing the hill at the West of the Hab for the sunrise. We took beautiful pictures (see picture of the day).

After the breakfast, Valentina, Pieter and I, went to EVA for sampling the sites 8 to 10. Thanks to a nice weather, we succeed to do it following the protocol of sterilization (flaming the tools with alcohol).

In the middle of the morning, Nicolas, Alexandre and I have been following the route indicated by Shannon at our arrival. Magnificent site I should say, it looks like the Moon.

It was my last EVA. I spent the afternoon finishing some works and preparing for the departure tomorrow. Our bags are almost packed, tomorrow we will just have to clean up the Hab since it is already tidied up.
